This place suits me perfectly! I love the 24-hour reception, free airport shuttle, and the bar area. On my first stay, the staff helped return my sim cards. I recommend trying the delicious meals. I'm coming back for a holiday.

The cleanliness of the room stood out during my stay, especially the bathroom, which was well-kept despite some lingering issues. Conveniently, there's a Giordano's Pizza just a short walk away, perfect for late-night cravings.

The shuttle service goes off the rails after 9:00 PM, which left me scrambling for a taxi late at night. not ideal when you expect a shuttle ride to the hotel after a long flight. The bathroom had a persistent odor that wasn't pleasant, and the bathtub drain was annoyingly slow, leaving me with standing water during showers. Not being able to easily access downtown Chicago was another hiccup, requiring a taxing trek just to jump on the train, especially under the sweltering heat of August.

Solo traveler needs better value

I had a nice experience with the staff who were friendly and efficient, made check-in seamless. Also, room was clean, and the pressure in the shower was excellent, like a car wash on full blast.

i had a pleasant stay at hyatt centric. the staff were very nice and helpful. the hotel's location across from the casino was convenient but not noisy. the breakfast was really good, and my waitress was super friendly! the room was decent but a little firm for my taste.

I wish the bedding had a fitted sheet instead of a flat sheet. it kept coming off.
